Power Station Maintenance Technician - Midlands - 12 month contract
Maintenance technician role available to start immediately based in the midlands for a 12 month contract working in a large power station. Switchgear maintenance experience and previous power station experience is required for the role.
Essential Skills:
- Extensive electrical experience and an electrical background
- Power industry background
- HV (high voltage) and LV (low voltage) switchgear experience
- Heavy plant experience
Beneficial Skills:
- Good working understanding of actuators
- Control and instrumentation experience
- Scada experience
- Electrical motor control panel knowledge
Daily the role will involve:
- Commissioning
- Overhauls
- Routine maintenance
- Fault finding
- Small modifications
- Long term maintenance
