Regulatory Reporting Specialist - Accountant (ACCA or ACA or CIMA) - COREP - London
Qualified Accountant is required to provided Regulatory Reporting as a subject matter expert in this field to work on a COREP project in the city.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide Regulatory Reporting subject matter expertise to the Business Readiness workstream of the Central Finance CoRep project, including input into target operating model, supporting design of Business Rehearsals and preparation of the Business community to participate in those Rehearsals.
- Provide ad-hoc subject matter expertise as required to the COREP programme.
Skills Required
- Previous experience leading parallel run or business rehearsal activities (ideally involving 50+ individuals).
- Good awareness of current regulatory issues facing banks (and European banks in particular).
- FSA prudential regulatory reporting experience (as opposed to liquidity/compliance although these will also be valuable).
- Understanding of Standardised and IRB rules and reporting.
- Educated to at least degree level
- Qualified accountant with good technical skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
