Background:
The client is a major international bank based in Brussels.
They are seeking an IT Graduate to join the Middleware and Framework team that is responsible to design, develop and support integration solutions between business applications and various operating systems (mainly IBM Mainframe, but also communication and messaging services on Unix, Windows, Tandem).
Please note that this is a contract to Permanent/Internal Staff assignment. It will be a 6 months contract initially during which you are paid a daily rate as a contractor after which my client will hire you on its own payroll, as an Internal Staff.
Tasks:
Design, develop and support integration solutions and frameworks between business applications and operating systems;
Review existing implementation;
Build, test and maintain the Middleware;
Support the Middleware in test/development/production environments as 2nd and 3rd level of support;
Skills:
- MQ Series, File Transfer Monitors, CICS, Frameworks.
Some experience (6-12 months) in a similar role would be a plus.
At the very least you should have been an intern at a company.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important than your work experience!
