My Sydney client seeks a Monitoring Technical Specialist with strong experience with HP-BAC

Key Accountabilities:

  • BAC (Business Availability Center) Implementation
  • Splunk and SiteScope experience
  • Develop Interfaces/Integration between HP BAC and various Monitoring and Service Desk Technologies/Tools (SCOM, Solarwinds Orion, CA Unicenter, WMI, Oracle Enterprise Manager, HP Sitescope, HP Service Manager)

The following are the key skills required for the role:

  • Transferrable skills in monitoring tools and toolsets such as SCOM, Unicentre, Tivoli, Solarwinds, keynote or other monitoring tools.
  • Exposure to information technology monitoring in particular the use and development of applications and performance of applications
  • HP BAC (including Sitescope & DDM) experience
  • Experience with Vugen/Loadrunner script development
  • Experience in creating accurate documentation and assist in project work as required
  • Exposure to Unix and Windows Operating Systems
  • Experience in generating reports and analysing data
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Experience in configuration of monitors and alerts within BAC and the generation of BAC Management reports
  • ITIL experience
