An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Citrix Engineer to join a motivated, dedicated, forward thinking team in Melbourne's CBD. As an initial 5 week engagement, you will assist technical SME's, clients and users in all areas of Citrix. Our client is looking for a 3rd level support candidate to start immediately.

The role:

To provide 3rd level business systems support for users of systems. Also assist the business in the use of these systems in order to satisfy their operational and managements needs (some specialisation of the systems supported may occur due to the number of systems involved).

To liaise with system users (the "business"), the technology and infrastructure support staff and where required, system vendors.

To work closely, from time to time, with process improvement teams and the business to support the implementation of improvements to existing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Citrix environment administration capability to assist during peak periods/annual leave
  • Assist with packaging/publishing requirements
  • Assist with application testing
  • Assist with performance troubleshooting
  • Assist with Altiris helpdesk jobs

Desirable:

  • CCA in XenApp 5+
  • Experience in XenApp 6

Successful candidates will have a proven background in providing Level 3 support in Citrix environments, as well as excellent communication skills and be available IMMEDIATELY.
