Description
* Responsible for the development of design policies, strategies and support capability of the studies design process.* Responsible for the continuous improvement of the studies design engineering and delivery process.
* Shall motivate and co-ordinate subordinate engineering solutions personnel, assisting in the resolution of problem areas and maintaining a personal interest in their achievements.
* Shall maintain an overview of schedule performance and studies design engineering discipline effort quality, communicating any deviance identified in the integrity of the group objectives.
* Responsible for maintaining relations with the client in respect of studies design engineering issues when required.
* Shall support the group innovation process and seek opportunities to improve the clients position in the market place.
* Shall maintain constant dialogue with other sphere managers in order to preserve continuity and momentum of progress.
* Shall comply with all aspects of the 'Health and Safety at Work etc. Act (1974)', but particular section 7.0 relating to General Duties of Employees, ie
* Shall comply with all relevant procedures, guidance, etc. relating to the work, which will ensure compliance with the Safety Management System.
* Shall attend regular Safety, Health and Environmental awareness training provided by the company which will help meet the above requirements.
* Must have experience of Brownfield modifications in the oil and gas industry.Green field EPCI experience advantageous.
* Engineering Manager in a technical position within oil and gas industry.
* Experienced in the technical issues/queries; Extensive knowledge of industry Regulations, Codes and Standards; Good knowledge of industry best practices; Experience of multi-discipline resource management; Extensive knowledge and understanding of HSE.
