Managed Services Manager - Italy
On behalf of our client, a major and fast growing Telecom company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a Managed Services Manager for a permanent position, based in Italy. This role involves extensive travel. Fluent Italian and English are both required.
Job Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility to manage the Due Diligence and transition activities in on/off shoring Managed Services cases, including GNOC operation services.
• Lead the Due Diligence activity in, including but not limited to establishment and kick off of the team, coordination of the request list for information, management of the received material, coordination between the teams, review the findings/suggested approach, plans etc.
• Owner for Due Diligence report summary and take overall responsibility for the MS Due Diligence Outcome.
• Owner and lead the Transition phase for a well planned and smooth transfer of service delivery, assets and staff according to transition plan and standards and values. Manage all relevant items for the transition into consideration, normally involving highly skilled teams from HR, Legal, Service Delivery, Finance, IT, Workplace facilities, etc.
• Competency built up and handover to Service Operations Manager.
• Effectively manage and coordinate between the teams, interact with other contacts e.g. bid team, Customer account team, Sales team, Operations Team, regional and global service management, customer side transition contacts & management etc.
• Design, develop the transformation plan according to managed service delivery actual status, in line with customer’s expectation to lead and be responsible to implement the transformation plan, be responsible for the quality of the transformation fulfilment.

Job Requirements
• Graduation in Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in technical or Business fields.
• Ideally 10-15 years of experience in Telecom operations.
• Over 5 years of experience in Senior Management position in Telecommunications.
• Must have direct experience of Managed Services, including Transition management, due diligence/outsourcing activities.
• Solid project management experience from customer projects.
• Experience in outsourcing transitions/ integration and pre sales on technical projects involving Telecom network solutions.
• Project Experience-Management of complex project delivery and solving associated issues.
• Leadership experience-Project leadership on Projects offered.
• Understanding of long term Managed Services Business Perspective with working knowledge of Managed Services Operations Model. Understanding of cultural behaviours.
• Other experience-efficiency projects, executive level customer interaction.
