Summit Developer - Belgium - Summit Developer

Challenge

Financial Markets department is looking for a SUMMIT analyst programmer with 5 years MUST development experience.
Good functional knowledge of structured exotic interest rates derivatives products is required. Some experience in Java programming is a plus.
The person will be located in Brussels (need to be staying in Brussels during the week). Possible one day travels to Amsterdam or London can be foreseen on rare occasions.
The candidate will integrate in an existing team of three Summit developers.
The mission will start with a 6 months contract but offer long term perspectives

Technical Context

  • The project is called BIRDEX. The goal is to migrate a stock of contracts from Kondor to Summit.
  • In Summit we develop MUST products. We use an internal Java application to migrate the deals from one system to the other and to produce reconciliation reports for NPV, Greeks and HVAR.
  • The pricing is performed by an internal C++ lib wrapped in Java code and deployed on a grid.

Business Context

The person we are looking for will be interacting with various teams:
- Quant developers (developing the internal C++ pricing library) - Brussels
- Quant integrators (developing the internal Java application) - Brussels
- MRM (validating the figures produced by the applications) - Brussels/Amsterdam
- Front to Back development team - Amsterdam/London
- Trading desks - Brussels/Singapore/NY
