Key areas of responsibility include: developing and implementing a substantial programme of innovative, engaging internal communications; promoting services to potential employers and other key external stakeholders through targeted PR and marketing activity; developing and managing the company's reputation through clear positioning, brand identity and effective media handling.
You will manage two Senior Executives and oversee their management of two Executives. The role is responsible for developing the team to achieve high levels of performance, and for driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
This role regularly liaises with senior operational and corporate stakeholders across the business to plan and review internal and external communications, and is responsible for managing key relationships with external PR and design agencies.
Consulting with the CEO, Executive Team and senior corporate managers on strategic planning and review the effectiveness of internal and external communications.
Building relationships with regional operational management and staff across the company to facilitate internal communications, and to manage and coordinate regional PR and marketing campaigns.
Experience Required:
- Strategic marketing and communications planning.
- Proven experience of a range of marketing and communications techniques, including digital/social media.
- Public relations - reputation management, positive and negative media handling and crisis communications.
- Internal communications - proven experience of a range of tools and techniques.
- A successful team leader with experience of line management and staff development.
- Setting strategic objectives and successfully delivering plans.
- Delivering a range of marketing and PR activity to the highest standards.
- Press office experience.
- Achieving exceptional results through a mix of channels, eg online, print and film.
- Managing external agencies and suppliers.
- Working with creative teams and providing input into creative ideas and execution.
- Setting and managing marketing budgets.
