Role: Marketing Campaign Manager - Retail Banking - RDR - London - 10 months - up to £450/day

Overview:
Design, development & delivery for the bank across multiple channels (Retail & Wealth) in order to meet FSA compliance as part of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR)

Core duties & skills required:

  • Manage the delivery of Core Banking & Specialist Brands or UK & International Wealth campaigns (across the full media mix and channel range) to achieve brand and business objectives.
  • Delivery of allocated campaigns on time, accurately and within budget.
  • Support the continual refinement of media plans for allocated campaigns to ensure the best possible results. Continually develop campaigns within remit through the development and execution of detailed test plans.
  • Work closely with Customer Effectiveness to appraise the performance of allocated campaigns. Identify and implement changes to drive up performance.
  • Work closely with the Customer Insights team to maintain a comprehensive market/consumer knowledge, and ensure all communications are grounded in genuine customer insight.
  • Management of third party agencies and suppliers to deliver cost effective, on brand/brief advertising to agreed business and brand objectives.
  • Develop clear and directive creative briefs and brief external agencies as required for all customer communications including direct marketing.
  • Ensure appropriate management of campaign budgets to deliver campaigns within budget and take steps to improve cost efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain detailed brand and product knowledge, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory policy.
  • Implement agreed processes to ensure that all communications developed are compliant with the relevant codes and regulations.
  • Support other key stakeholder relationships to deliver campaigns.

Desirable Skills

  • Strong ATL and/or BTL communications experience. Experience of creative development and media planning.
  • Practical marketing experience gained within an agency or company.
  • Ability to interpret and present sales and brand MI.
  • Good interpersonal skills both internally and externally
  • Effective decision maker.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to understand complex data and the initiative to use this to drive performance improvement of programmes
  • Proven creative judgment essential, with the ability to direct and manage agencies.
  • Strong self organisation and prioritisation, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines.
  • A strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks within the financial services industry desirable.
  • A degree (or equivalent) in business management/marketing and professional qualification is highly desirable.

Other Information
Candidate will be based in London with travel to Haywards Heath office required to liaise with marketing Subject Matter Experts.
