Description
My client is looking for an experienced Storage Engineer to be part of the projects team in a leading organization on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will be strong across Netapp, HP EVA, VMware and should be familiar with Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems.
The projects will involve:
- High Level Design for data migration from HP EVA storage arrays to NetApp storage array and VMware VMs migration from Intel based ESX hosts to AMD bases ESX hosts,
- Data centre audit of the physical and virtual Servers and also the storage arrays.
- On call component - 1 week in every 4/5 weeks
Essential skills:
- Strong experience in Netapp, HP EVA, VMware - essential
- Strong experience across Unix/Linux/Windows OS- essential
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Degree qualified - essential
- Strong communication skills - essential
