Software Developer/Analyst

€500 - €600 per day
6 month contract beginning early September

One of our leading Antwerp based clients is seeking an experienced ME Analyst/Software Developer to join their team and assist on one of their current contracts.

The role requires:
- You are responsible for the analysis and design of software components necessary for the operation and maintenance of an industrial press.
- You are part of the software team responsible for the development of operator, service and/or production of software inject printing machines.

The tasks performed require a professional and systematic approach:
- You perform technical analysis based on pre-made requirements and any technical specifications.You design, test and maintain software drivers - some already developed in a first phase - higher SW layers that allow the machine to drive.Further design, test and maintain your software components that are used to maintain the machine. The components will be used by the service engineers.
- You discuss requirements with the partner and the SW/FW architects or the functional interpretation and interfacting with software and hardware components.
- You write, according to plan, the necessary documentation for maintenance.You report the project progress regularly to your client.
- You work according to the procedures and methodologies developed within the company and department (ISO, project control, software methodology ...)

Job Requirements:
- You have a master diploma/degree in computer science, industrial engineering electronics-ICT or equivalent experience.
- Affinity with machinery/mechanical engineering.
- Experience with C #/. NET, WPF and Object Oriented Design/development is a necessity
- Experience with MS SQL Server, WCF, Workflow Foundation and C + + is desirable.
- You have knowledge of/experience with Windows XP/7, Office tools, Enterprise Architect and Visual Studio 2010.
- You have a creative resolution for software tasks within the entire "software development process', however, in line with agreements on set goals and planning.
- You have been interested in ghosts in a technical environment.Demonstrated experience with writing software engineering is a plus.
- You are quality conscious and is very accurate.
- You are stress resistant and can work within tight deadlines
- You have a critical attitude also outside software issues and discipline.
- You can work independently but are still a strong team player and think creatively about solutions, software within your discipline but also abroad.
- You have good communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
