Qualifications Should Include:
A Professional Accounting qualification is required
A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated work experience post qualification
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), including an ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
A self-starter with excellent analytical and problem solving skills, and an ability to work on own initiative and drive for results is required
Excellent PC skills, particularly in Excel are required. SAP experience is also desirable
Knowledge of the Software industry is preferred (but not essential).

Summary of Role:
The Financial accountant will support the team all statutory requirements, including managing the annual external audit and filing of financial statements for eight Ireland entities. He/she will assist in delivering the Operations Centre monthly close process, providing controls and compliance guidance to ensure all financial risks are appropriately understood and managed. He/she will review transactions impacting the main Irish companies, ensuring the management accounts are complete and accurate and providing appropriate reporting and business insight. This role will provide an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant experience finance in one of the worlds leading technology companies.

Key Responsibilities:
Statutory:
Assist in the external audit process, facilitating engagement across the Ireland site and with Corporate teams
Engage with the audit team to review and drive resolution of audit issues and potential errors
Assist in driving quality financial statements for Irish entities

Operations Centre Monthly Close:
Attend close review meetings with the Finance Leadership and provide insight into key movements across the P&L and BS on a monthly basis for main entities.
Collaborate with broader EOC and Corporate finance teams to understand material variances in management accounts and develop value add business insight reporting with actionable go DOS to address issues/risks/opportunities identified through analytics
Partner with Corporate Accounting team on month end close timelines and resolution of close issues
Drive accounting policy compliance and ensure policy changes are implemented appropriately, in line with updated accounting standards
Maintain SOX controls around month end close process
Drive continuous improvement in reporting and analytics.

Other activities:
Support new businesses on boarding from a statutory and GL perspective
