CrossWay Group, Inc. has the following Contract requirement:

Our end client is looking for a project manager type personality that can organize and manage the myriad of details relating to switching individual manufacturing facilities from a Legacy system over to a new SAP installation.

The successful candidate will be reporting to a Project/Program manager from an activity standpoint and will have a key role within various project deployments. He/she will partner with the PMO in leading this activity. He/she will manage a small staff to support the cutover activities, but direct resources across the project team to facilitate the successful deployment of the supporting technical solutions.

A strong leader and influencer, the candidate must have both relevant and extensive experience, excellent organization and co-ordination skills, coupled with logical thinking and be motivated by working within a fast paced and constantly changing environment.

Develop Overall Cutover Approach and work plans
Develop overall cutover plan for each cutover test cycle and actual cutover including: technical steps for SAP environment build, manual configuration, data
conversion and interface switching
Develop timeframe of Cutover
Develop Controlled Business shutdown and start up Procedures for use during Cutover including backlog processing for each business concerned
Develop Interim Business Procedures for use during system blackout
Develop data freeze requirements and dual maintenance strategy during Cutover
Develop Interface cutover plan for shutdown and start-up of new and Legacy systems
Develop Batch Schedule start up plan
Ensure resource requirements for the Cutover Teams are met
Develop back out/contingency plans for Cutover
Schedule regression testing of shared environments & liaise with support teams to ensure appropriate change requests/procedures are followed
Provide Cutover status reporting to project leadership and key stakeholders
Ensure entry into and exit out of cutover stage gates are met including the final Go/No-Go meetings
Facilitate daily calls during actual cutover period
Act as the final point of escalation for all Cut-over issues, proactively bringing about appropriate interventions when the Cutover may be jeopardized.

This contract will be 75% remote and 25% on-site.

Rate: DOE
Duration: 12 - 18 Months Plus
