Position Title: Quality Assurance Tester
Duration: Contract- 6 months
Location: Montgomery, AL 36116
Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester for 6 month, contract to permanent position in Montgomery, AL. The QA Tester will be responsible for providing an overall management function that determines, defines, and implements QA Test policies, programs, and procedures, to data management, analytic, and programming activities and products. The QA Tester will use analytical tools to quantitatively measure quality, reports on findings, and makes recommendations on changes to meet specifications and quality standards.

Quality Assurance Tester Responsibilities:
- Perform software testing which include, but not limited to, the following tasks:
- Write test plans, test scripts, test cases and Use Cases based on Business and/or Functional Requirements
- Execute test cases and Use Cases in the designated software application(s)
- Report software bugs in clear and concise language
- Collaborate with Programmers, Project Managers, and Business Analyst to develop resolution to software problems
- Perform stress and system performance test on application as directed by Project Manager
- Write test reports
- Put scripts in place to follow for testing
- Facilitate large meetings with all management levels in attendance
Minimum Requirements:
- 4-year College Degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or Project Management
- Minimum of 5 years with software quality assurance
- Quality Assurance experience in a leadership role with functional, system, integration, regression, performance, and load testing Experience working with users to discuss problem analysis, systems modifications and gathering of requirements
- Experience with requirements analysis, test case identification, test plan creation and execution, tracking of defects and reporting of results
- System migration experience
