I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Financial Institution based in the Sydney CBD. My client requires an experienced Linux Systems Engineer to join a growing IT department on a 6 month rolling contract. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in a senior Linux team responsible for a major project at a global Financial Institution.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan/Design/Implementation for Red hat Linux server roll out project
* Support of Applications
* Performance Tuning, Patching, Debugging
* Automation of manual admin tasks
Key Skills
* Linux RedHat - 7+ years experience
* WebSphere
* Apache
* Strong Scripting skills - Ruby
Key Experience
* Strong RedHat Delivery/Build experience essential
* Experience in large Enterprise environments essential 500+ Servers
* Project experience within an ITIL framework
* Strong financial services industry experience
