My client is looking for a Business Analyst is required to work in the Clearing programme on this initiative focusing mainly on Credit Risk and Client clearing.

The Credit Risk Business Analyst (BA) will be initially responsible for:
Documenting current business processes/architecture
Gathering business requirements
Completing an impact assessment
Producing target state solution alternatives and socialising them with the key stakeholders
Working alongside groups such as risk policy, risk infrastructure and credit risk analysts & IT to gather requirements and help implement a pre trade risk mechanism for client clearing deals
Gap Analysis to detail the work required to go from Current state to Future state
Translating the requirements into project deliverables
Working with the PM to produce a resource-level build, test, and implementation plan
Supporting the PM in resolving issues as they arise throughout the life cycle of the Project;
Works with the PM to resolve issues, design and implement solutions
Responsible for production of relevant progress reporting documentation in line with standards
Provides full input into Project planning tasks, activities and milestones, ensuring that Project life cycle standards are fully adhered to

Skills details
*Must have worked in a traded product credit exposure measurement and/or control function or as a BA/PM on a traded product credit limit control system project.
*Working knowledge of traded product credit exposure measurement techniques (MTM + add-on, PFE monte-carlo simulation etc) and their application across the range of traded derivative products.
*Understanding of the pre-deal credit limit checking process for electronic trading. Previous experience of a Real Time credit limit checking solution would be ideal.
*Experience of working with pre trade client clearing credit and risk exposure methodologies ( PAIRS) and exposure to LCH margin calculations
*5+ years of industry experience, in either a relevant Consultancy role or with Tier 1/2 Investment Banking environment
*Deep understanding/experience of Credit & Rates Products and related business processes Proven track record in Business analysis for new business/product implementations within an Investment Bank, being able to make appropriate Risk/Value assessments and propose a range of realistic and appropriate remedies
*Highly developed skills in producing detailed business requirements and use of presentation toolsets such as MS PowerPoint and Visio
*Experienced at dealing with the design and communication of full life cycle Operating models in the support of new businesses
*Ability to successfully influence many different groups and individuals to deliver high quality and timely deliverables
*Ability to directly address conflicts and escalate issues where appropriate.
*Maintains a sense of urgency and ability to prioritise/multi-task to deliver business value and meet project objectives
*Solutions oriented - doesn't take "no" for an answer attitude
*Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation including Senior Executives, Front Office and Infrastructure/Support individuals
*Strong sense of accountability and ownership over Project key deliverables and realisation of Business value
*Excellent teamwork and communication skills, builds trust and confidence with colleagues and management teams
*Education - Graduate Calibre
