Description
Exciting opportunity to join a multinational FMCG leader in their Sydney head office. Your brief is to overhaul the IT function by identifying and rectifying issues, consolidating and streamlining processes and establishing best-practice guidelines for the business. Your initiatives have the full backing of senior management but you will be expected to make the hard decisions and deliver results. The initial 12 month contract will be extended based on turnaround progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess current environment and redesign processes to align with business strategy
- Develop actionable turnaround strategy and annual IT budget
- Ensure IT service is delivered in a timely and consistent manner
- Investigate and escalate any issues to resolution with vendors and group resources
- Manage and mentor existing team and build team as required
Key Requirements
- Tertiary and professional IT qualifications
- Demonstrated success in similar turnaround situations
- Significant project, stakeholder and vendor management experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite, network infrastructure and large-scale ERP
- FMCG and/or manufacturing experience advantageous
