Fund Accounting
We are currently looking for a Fluent French & English Speaking fund Accountant who will be there to ensure that the Report & Accounts, factsheets and other published data in relation to the companies Fund Range are delivered appropriately, on time and in accordance with the applicable regulations & practices within the market. Our client operates an "outsourced" operations environment and so this role will involve extensive liaison, coordination and oversight of our suppliers.
Starting ASAP, 4-5 month Contract working in Central London
Key Operational Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurate and timely publication of Accounts, factsheets and other report production for the company's range of Funds. This will involve plan development, coordination and management of external suppliers, internal contributors and stakeholders
- Ensure Fund accounts are prepared in accordance with current accounting standards and business requirements
- Process design, implementation and ongoing evolution in relation to production, control and review/oversight of data which is published within the reports. This will include ensuring that all key ratios of the fund are subject to analytical review prior to being released into the public domain
- Provide Cover & support in relation to Oversight Officer role
- Keep up to date with current & developing accounting standards within the UK, Ireland & France.
Necessary Skills/Experience
- Fluent French & English Speaker
- Qualified Accountant or part qualified working towards full qualification)
- Extensive fund accounting experience
- Proven track record in production of long form accounts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collegiate, team player
- Self-starter/"can do" attitude
- Experience of managing external service suppliers
