Link Technologies is looking for a Software Applications Engineer Programmer II for a 6 month contract assignment our client location in Atlanta, GA. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join an innovative software team developing a Real Time, cross-platform server application as part of an enterprise loyalty solution for the retail industry. He or she will be a key contributor in the development process and will be given the opportunity to shoulder significant responsibility. He or she may have the opportunity to experience and work with the entire development cycle including application design, development, unit testing, integration testing, deployment, and customer support.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or related field.
  • Strong C++ object-oriented programming (OOP) background.
  • TCP/IP server socket-level programming experience.
  • SQL relational database experience.
  • US Permanent Resident Preferred Qualifications.
  • Experience developing cross-platform applications.
  • Experience with Linux distributions; Suse, Debian, Red Hat.
  • Client Server programming experience for the Microsoft Windows platform.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in software analysis/development and systems development.
