Description
Requirements
- The Web Designer should have a strong foundation and understanding of overall web-development principles including information architecture, accessibility, and Web design strategies. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and be able to work without guided supervision.
- Creative Design, Development, and Maintenance of HTML content-based websites and web pages
- Applying customer/agency and industry standards to websites including Section 508 compliance and any templates
- Develop applicable wireframes, design concepts, and any other needed documentation related to website
- Work independently and within team environment as part of process of designing site and ensuring content remains updated and relevant
- Plan for future website/web development needs while maintaining active and ongoing website content and web page presence
- Ability to create vector graphics, including logos, using Adobe Illustrator
Required Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of Web Development experience
- Experience designing and implementing web sites and web pages.
- Must be able to troubleshooting error messages using logs and debugging tools.
- Must be able to interface with clients for project requirements.
- Must be able to take a support or lead role for any project.
- Must be able to multitask, manage time and expectation.
- Must be able to work with minimal guidance.
- Must be able to operate and perform maintenance on the following platforms:
- W2K3 (or W2K8)
- IIS 6 (or IIS 7)
- WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007
- SQL Server
- VB/C# .NET (3 years)
- ASP .NET (3 years)
- JQUERY (2 years)
- HTML (5 years)
- CSS (5 years)
- XML (3 years)
- XLST (1 year)
- Web Services (3 years)
- User Controls (2 years)
- Adobe Creative Suite
