Job Title: EC&I Design Engineer
Rate: £25-30 p/h (Negotiable)
Location: North Yorkshire
Duration: 12 Months
Due to a recent increase in orders and a recently secured new project, a leading name in Bespoke Nuclear Equipment is seeking to recruit an EC&I Design Engineer to work on a twelve month contract based in North Yorkshire.
You'll join the existing Engineering team to complete 2D Electrical diagrams, schematics, and manufacturing drawings for the company's range of bespoke remote handling equipment. The projects will be high value, low volume systems delivered to several high-profile customers in the nuclear sector.
With a good all round Electrical background you'll have a strong level of Electrical CAD experience and have had a good level of exposure to PLC software. The CAD software currently in use by the Electrical Department is AutoCAD LT; however AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical is also acceptable. You will also have some knowledge of ISO9001 quality systems.
Although PLC programming is not an essential requirement, any previous experience is of particular interest, particularly with either Siemens or Allen Bradley. Also highly desirable is any heavy industrial experience, such as nuclear or chemical.
