OVERVIEW:

  • Deskside software support
  • High end printer and multi-function Laser component level repair
  • Server component level hardware repair and software restore
  • Network device replacement/configuration
  • Basic network troubleshooting
  • Smart Hands, executes defined networking instructions
  • Scanner/scale calibrations
  • Ability to handle warranty certification calls
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
  • Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Works under general supervision
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 - 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area required
  • Familiarity with a variety of tech support concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Network OS basic skills
  • Ability to manage a complex project
  • Ability to work with little to no direction
  • Experience providing pre-sales support
  • Verbal and written client level communication skills
  • Experience to lead a team of resources
  • May require an Associate's Degree or equivalent
