Job Title: Marine Electrical Engineer (multiple vacancies)

A leading marine engineering consultancy is seeking to recruit a Marine Electrical Engineer to work on a project related to full ship system design based in the North East that is initially scheduled for 6 months.
This contract will involve electrical systems design including single line drawings, short circuit and load balance calculations. You will also be required to assist the existing Electrical department with other areas of this high-profile project.
Ideal candidates will come from a strong marine or offshore background and have experience of electrical design for ship systems including; cargo systems, oil and fuel systems, fire and wash deck and all other related layouts and inputs. Working with AutoCAD for the completion of all electrical designs, you should also be able to display a strong level of experience with High and Medium Voltage systems.
