Senior Quality Engineer

An immediate position for a Senior Quality Engineer has become available, to initially cover long term sick. Working with a reputable and longstanding Pharmaceutical client, globally renowned with a multinational footprint, our client is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with a background in supplier management to start as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will participate in support activities in the Quality Assurance Department ensuring all goods manufactured and services provided by the company meet the quality requirements of the company, customer and regulatory authorities.
As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will be educated to degree level in Quality or a Science discipline. You will have a recognised quality qualification (eg CQI Diploma in Quality), and significant experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, coupled with either drug manufacturing, medical device or biologics industry experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control or Quality Engineering.
You will need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of document control systems, as well as knowledge of cGMPs, MHRA, FDA regulations and SOPs. Experience with internal and external audit processes are also essential, as experience in Quality & technical agreements. Candidates applying with Supplier Management experience will be strongly favoured.
