Design Supply Chain Manager - Contract 6-9 Months - (then potential permanent (£45-46K + benefits)
My client is a growing engineering design and production/assembly team is busy and due to increasing workloads they are further looking to expand their capacity in their Design Supply Chain with a Supply Chain Manager.
The UK team is driving and developing current suppliers and growing new ones and some of these design teams are in other locations in Europe/Globally.
If you can drive improvements and able to improve tracking and performance KPI's and improving delivery.
You must have a strong engineering Design background from Automotive/Aerospace/Plant and ideally a Mech Engineering Qualification and with a proven record and Commercial Awareness to enable them to develop and deliver strong business
Experience of managing suppliers and the supply chain, Capability and capacity, IS09001 Audit Experience and ideally some idea and knowledge of current design modelling and software tools...
Their might be travel internationally required and ideally have a 2nd language. (German/Spanish/French)
