Equalities Project Manager (Older Peoples, Health, Prince 2, Public Health Sector, Health services, stakeholder management)

Sand Resources require an experienced Equalities Project Manager to deliver change by means of business solutions or enhancements to meet customer needs for our client based in London. The client is looking for candidates who have strong experience of managing projects within the public health sector, liaising with key stakeholders and are Prince 2 qualified.
Candidates should have experience of working within the public health sector including older people projects, equalities legislation and mental health experience.

Older People/Equalities Project Manager Role:
*Produce a detailed project initiation document to include: Objectives of the project: Method of approach; Scope of project (defined by initial stakeholder meeting); Exclusions; Deliverables, Constraints and Interfaces.
*Look to bring together key stakeholders to decide the delivery model, Quality Standards and the Performance & Outcomes Framework.
*Make arrangements to test and pilot the feasibility of the pathways and delivery models proposed.
*To effectively manage the expectations of the key stakeholders involved in developing this work.
*Establish & maintain productive business relationships with internal and external colleagues/third parties.
*Responsible for the budgetary management for the project, the value of this funding is likely to be in the region of £1.5.million in .

Older Peoples/Equalities Project Manager Experience:
*Experience of Prince 2 methodology to effectively manage the project to ensure that quality products are produced in line with key milestones
*Substantial specialist and expert knowledge of Public Health Sector.
*Experience of managing large budgets
*Excellent/high level oral and written communication skills to enable effective communication on a wide range of issues to a diverse audience
*Strong experience of managing stakeholders and building key relationships.
