Description
My client, a large public sector employer in South West London has an immediate requirement for an experienced HR professional working 4 days p/week. As the interim HR professional your main responsibility will be to review and updated their HR policies and to ensure that these comply with recent changes in legislation.
Main responsibilities will include:
- To contribute to the review of the organisations employment policies and procedures, ensuring that they support policies and current employment legislation eg Disability Discrimination Act and Working Time Regulations.
- To contribute and lead on specific programmes of work eg Recruitment or staff appraisals.
- To work with the HR team to ensure the implementation of the organisations Human Resources Strategy.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of updating HR policies in a public sector environment, you'll be CIPD qualified with an excellent understanding of employment law.
