Description
MAIN TASKS
- Ensure that Printers/Voice Recording/Fiscal System are kept in a working state
- Ensure that scheduled jobs are run on time and that back up tapes are kept safe and secure
- Ensure that all Procedures are run, Tick lists are completed and organise and communicate any changes in procedures to fellow Operators. Keep the Procedure Manual/Tick list up to date
- Assist with large print runs, meeting deadlines and provide quality control for all printouts. Ensure that adequate supplies of stationery are available and keep the Print Room clean and tidy at all times
- Work with and on the relevant Help Desk when required and deal with incoming user calls and requests. Liaise with users (including IT development), suppliers and other team members as required to respond to requests or issues raised
- Learn all necessary procedures for 3 shifts and cover other shifts at short notice.
ROLE SPECIFIC TASKS
- Perform role making use of the skills and experience defined in the Experience section below
- Work to agreed shift system and provide out of hours support as agreed with your supervisor or manager
- Support project work as well as BAU activities as required

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Qualifications (specify if mandatory)
- Educated to GCSE standard
- Formal training in the skills required would be an advantage.
Experience
- 0-3 years relevant experience in an IT Operations environment
- Familiarity with standard Desktop applications
- Previous experience in stockbroking/financial environment is not essential, but would be advantageous.
