Description

This project involves the design and development of an evaluation platform used to test the functionality of new design for our client, a high-visibility computer manufacturing brand. The hardware design of the board for this project requires a Windows GUI to drive the operation of the microcontrollers and the automation of the collection and storage of functional output from the power management controllers.

OVERVIEW:

  • Translate architectural and software requirements into functional code
  • Test, debug, and validate software blocks and revisions through release

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • at least 3 years building Windows based applications, including various GUI elements
  • Excellent development and debugging skills (C, C#, and C++)
  • Proven track record of solving complex technical problems and writing technical design documents
  • C/C++/C#, .NET skills
  • Software localization skills
  • Visual Studio skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Use of software development tools, environments, and life cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement real solutions
  • Experience developing applications on IA
  • Experience with debugging user- and Kernel- mode problems using Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio, WinDBG, etc.)

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Python/Perl/Bash
  • Linux basics
  • Compiler technology, especially performance tuning and optimization, debugging and optimization in Multithreading environment
  • OS internals
  • Computer architecture on processor and virtual machines
