Leading outsourcing group requires an IMS (Information Management System) DBA for one of their major financial services client, based in Sydney's CBD.

On a daily basis you will be responsible to;
Analyse and Maintain IMS database environment parameters
Design and manage of all IMS Bufferpools
Analyse and Tune Randomizing parameters for performance improvement randomization
DR Exercise (Planning, Testing and Execution) for the IMS installation
Startup/Shutdown of IMS regions during IPL
Log Dataset Management for IMS
Data Sharing implementation and Management for IMS
Managing IMS Transaction Manager Resources in a IMSplex env
DBRC Management for IMS
Consultant on IMS database applications architectureTo succeed in this role you will have; Experience of Mainframe Technologies in the area of IMS DBA & System administration
DeltaIMS
FileAid for IMS
IBM/BMC Utilities for IMS
