Our Insurance client is urgently seeking an Interim Financial Director for a 6 month contract.
The successful candidate will be accountable for financial management, financial reporting and financial control of the International business unit and will lead the International Financial team.
The role will have between 4 - 8 direct reports and up to 45 indirect reports.

In-depth knowledge of International Financial Services Authorities rules and regulations, and their implication and impact on a Life and Pension company.
Experience -
Strong track record of successful leadership of Finance teams including areas of:
- Strategy and planning
- Financial reporting
- Financial controls
- Commercial finance
- Established track record of strong financial and strategic leadership in a business applying rigorous financial disciplines to its operating business with high standards of operations and control systems development
- Prior experience in financial services. A background in insurance would be useful but not essential. Alternatively, a partner in a consulting/professional accounting firm with experience in the insurance sector.
- Ideally some Plc experience but if not exposure to the City.
- Demonstrated ability in situations requiring commercial as well as financial skills.
