Great Editorial role within a new consumer magazine. £400 per day. Avon Based. Immediate start preferable (this could be flexible for candidates with notice period). 6 month initial contract.

An established technology organisation seeks an experienced Editor with background in consumer magazines to join their team.
This technology organisation are looking to launch a consumer magazine focusing on the users of mobile, tablet and laptops. This magazine will be none technical but focused on the latest gadgets, news and reviews within this market. This organisation need an experience editor to help them create the magazine, including contributing to the writing of it and then completing the editorial process including the editorial review process.
The role of Editor will involve:
*Launching a new Digital Magazine for owners of Apple devices etc, the editor will be responsible for ensuring the magazine is consumer focused, appealing, impartial and current.
*Ensure the magazine successfully appeals to its target audience and is consistent.
*Helping to create the magazine and at times helping to write articles etc.
*Advise the business on standard publishing processes in terms of editorial review implementation.
*General editorial responsibilities
Key skills and experience
*Be an experienced editor in the consumer magazine sector
*Have a good understanding of apple & similar products and their consumers
*Experienced running and building small publishing teams
*Have a diligent yet laid back personality
*Have excellent publishing knowledge
*Experienced acting as an adviser and consultant within the business.
*Excellent communication skills
*Excellent team building and management skills
