Facilities Manager/Project Manager
We are in the midst of opening some new medical office buildings. There could be travel within all the Mid Atlantic states to any client facility. The contractor will need to coordinate all movement of people, resources (including office and medical equipment). A knowledge of healthcare is preferred.
Travel - To be determined. The contractor will be up to 50%.
Mileage will be reimbursed for locations other than the Rockville location. Travel could include DC.
Hours and days:
M-F typically 9 to 5 -- but this position may require after hours and weekends depending on the moves and MOB openings
Experience Requirements:
Healthcare background and/or experience moving offices is strongly preferred. Experience with moving resources, tight timelines, budgets, sensitivity to priorities and stressful environments is strongly preferred.
Work Environment:
Business casual but dress will depend on audience. Most PM work will be initiated, tracked and completed by this individual, highly responsible individual needed. May not be given direction, but may need to give direction to ensure success
Scope of the project:
Moving personnel, office and medical equipment. May need to be on site to ensure medical equipment arrives and is installed so patients can be seen upon MOB opening. This may also be applicable to medical personnel.

Will the contractor be managing anyone?
Managing several aspects of the moves, including client personnel and vendors on every level

Must have patience, willing to compromise, excellent communications skills and handle stress/multiple priorities. Successful personality, able to persuade when required.
Educational Requirements (what is the minimum education required for this position?):
Bachelor degree preferred. Associate degree preferred. 6 - 8 years of experience is required.
Will this position report to a Medical Facility (will they work in a hospital or clinic)?
They will not work in a medical facility but will work with medical facility during moves and equipment removal and/or installation
