We are seeking an SDE with 3-5 years' experience in Internet technologies to develop an Internet-facing application used to rate and manage sensitive user-generated content and enforce standards compliance. This team is upbeat and fast-paced. As a mature self-starter with a responsible attitude, you will own and manage your own project.
SKILLS:
- Excellent working knowledge of ASP.NET and C#
- Thorough understanding of web UI - DHTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Good working experience with SQL Server and Transact SQL
- Understanding of web security concepts, such as attack vectors, denial-of-service, cross-site Scripting, etc.
- Windows Server administration; security groups, setup and deployment
- Project management skills
- Knowledge of IIS 7
- Unit testing
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to writing useful documentation and keeping it up to date
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technical problems and concepts
Nice to have:
- MVC and Razor
- Experience with Windows Live ID sign-in
- WiX and MSI creation
- Release management skills
- Understanding of caching in IIS
- Experience with cross browser development
- Localization experience
This contract position is expected to be 1 year in duration.
