IFRS Project Manager - Change - GL - Finance Project Manager

Project Manager required to be responsible for day to day management, co-ordination and delivery of the newly implemented IFRS standards and finance processes.

The Project Manager will be a highly capable and confident individual with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrable track record of successful delivery of strategic change projects in a Finance function context.
  • Good understanding of Finance Control and Reporting Processes.
  • Ability to execute quickly and effectively - strong influencing skills and ability to get things done in a complex Matrix organisational structure
  • Confidence and gravitas - ability to deal with multiple stakeholders in different clusters
  • Proven track record of providing strong leadership and direction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player
  • Excellent PC skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • MS Project and Visio skills
Preferred
  • Accredited in Programme and Project management (eg MSP, Prince II)
  • ACA or CIMA
  • Strong systems experience including knowledge of large GL packages such as SAP & Hyperion
  • Good Technical Accounting, SOX, Financial Control and GL Control experience
