Job Purpose:
Working on behalf of Elite and our client, a Global Oil & Gas Company, we are looking for two FileNet Document Management Developers who will be responsible for the configuration, development and implementation of FileNet Applications. Candidates will be required to maintain and enhance existing Filenet Documents and be proficient in FileNet P8 based development in VB.NET/JavaScript/Java.
The role comprises a one year contract working on a 28 days on/28 days off rotation configuration at our client's premises in Iraq (Basra).
Accountabilities:
- Accountable for configuration, development and implementation of FileNet Applications
- Responsible for writing tools in Java to enhance the capabilities of FileNet tools
- Accountable for unit testing the FileNet Applications
- Participate in application enhancement and maintenance activities
- Provide technical expertise, problem analysis, and systems development services for the design of new or modified applications
- Develop new system functionality to accomplish continuous system improvements, to enhance new or existing business activities
- Communicate progress effectively to your immediate superior.
- Identify and resolve any existing or potential FileNet risks effectively and efficiently
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- Minimum five 5 years of I/S experience required
- Must have experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
- Experience with some or all of the following technologies: Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Struts, JDBC, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSD, XSLT, Web Service Technologies
- Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in FileNet projects
- Proficient in relevant IT software
- Good communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
