Job description of the Senior Migration Architect IBM I series:
In your role as senior Senior Migration Architect IBM iseries (specialist) your mission is the migration of Life400 application in all countries in scope (Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece).
Responsibilities of the Senior Migration Architect IBM I series:
Help prepare and create the migration plans for each country.
Check installation in Poland datacenters agains architecture and design.
Assist in the country migrations.
General knowledge:
Finance knowledge (Nice to have)
Working in outsourced environment
Working with vendors
Technical knowledge:
Operation Specialist/System Engineer/Solution Architect background,
5+ years experience with iSeries/IBM i platform and Power Systems,
Understand and write CL scripts,
Understand DB2 on IBM i,
iSeries/IBM i Hardware knowledge,
Additional information:
You must be prepared and able to travel internationally for 50% of your professional time as you will be located for the duration of the project in Amsterdam & Krakow with trips to other countries of the Central Rest of Europe (CRE) region.
