Description
Consultant SAP SD Business Analyst required immediately for a Global Multinational based south of Dublin
Reporting to the SAP Supply Chain Team Lead, the successful candidate will work as part of a large SAP Solutions Team with responsibility for delivering initiatives within the SCM functional area with a key focus on the SD module.
Role/Responsibilities:
Provide SAP expert knowledge in the functional areas of Sales, Distribution and Logistics to respond to business requirements
Working with Business Unit management teams to establish business requirements
Conducting requirement gathering workshops with Business Unit personnel to agree process design
Compiling professional scoping documents for the relevant initiatives
Developing feasible implementation plans by resource type
Design and deliver value-added systems initiatives to drive business value
Coordinate with the various resources to ensure a timely implementation
Delivering progress report to the business unit and IT management teams
Assist with support calls escalated from the SAP support team
Skills/Experience:
At least five year's SAP SD technical support or implementation/configuration experience.
Ideally SAP Certified in SD module on Version 6.0.
Strong cross-functional SAP knowledge especially in the area of Materials Management.
Basic ABAP coding knowledge, while not essential would be an advantage.
Good interpersonal, English communication and team-building skills
Flexibility to undertake international travel where required.
This is an daily rate contract with initial term of 6 months with opportunity to extend thereafter.
