The role is responsible for editorial planning, and will work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and plan content, brief the production of assets, as well as publish and monitor on a daily basis.
As a community advocate, the community managers' role is to represent the customer. This includes listening, monitoring, and being active in understanding what customers are saying in both corporate communities as well as external sites. This individual is responsible for monitoring community engagement, and should lean on advocates, and embrace detractors. As the brand's ambassador for the community, they should lead preparation of community feedback and sentiment, so that the team can socialise to relevant areas of the business in a professional and actionable way in order to influence growth through advocacy.
Experience & Skills:
* Min 2 years experience in a community management/social marketing role
* Passionate about social marketing with the ability to articulate how it plays a role as a communications' channel
* Highly organised with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
* Strong attention to detail
* Creative thinker, with a good eye for design and a proven track record of implementing creative social ideas - good creative judgement
* Experience in briefing and feeding back to creative agencies
* Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-moving business environment
* Demonstrated success in identifying, planning, executing and measuring new ideas
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Excited by developments in digital - always checking out the latest advancement and the next new thing strong commercial awareness
Above all you will be very familiar with the tools of social communication, from Facebook, to blogs, to You Tube, twitter and beyond, and understand the language and jargon that is used in the community.
