The client is a large consultancy organization with offices in Brussels and Luxembourg.
The requirement is as follows:-
The main tasks related to this position are the following: For a European Institution, you will carry out the following tasks: Requirements analysis; Process and data modelling, drawing up of functional and technical specifications; Prototyping; Development of applications in accordance with the specifications; Development of unit and integration test suites, plans and programs; Definition and integration of technological components; Integration with other applications; Production of technical documentation; Assistance with training administrators and users of the system; Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system; Assist with evaluating and testing products delivered by other teams to ensure that they conform to the requirements and methodology; Quality control; Test and acceptance.
Requirement:-
4 year university degree with minimum 6 years experience in IT OR non university degree with minimum 10 years experience in IT; Minimum 4 years experience in analysis and development; Minimum 2 years experience with UML or Case Tools and relational databases; Main experiences should be as Senior Java developer in large scale web projects (projects covering production, content management (WCMS aspects) and/or web publishing).
Technical skills in one of the two following areas (ideally the two):
Front End:
Excellent expertise of Spring MVC, Spring 3, JSP, TOMCAT; Experience in ExtJS, Wicket or Google Web toolkit would be an asset; Experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax; Experience with Eclipse, Maven and CVS
Back End:
Excellent expertise of Spring 3, JP, Hibernate, TOMCAT; Experience in XML (Parsing and Serialization XML); Experience in Oracle/SQL development; Experience with Eclipse, Maven and CVS; Experience in a PDF generator framework (FOP, IText, other) would be an asset.
Good knowledge of English and French.
