The Client:
Our client is a global firm that offer a broad range of professional services across a number of industries. They have operated in the Australian market for a number of years and continue to build on the success they have enjoyed to date.

The Role:
Due to a gap in their existing team our client is seeking to bring on an Infrastructure Engineer/Administrator to join their existing team of 12 here in Sydney. This is an initial 6 month contract role. They have in excess of 25 nationwide with staff located throughout the APAC region, but Sydney is the central hub.

Responsibilities for the role will include:

  • Supporting the Desktop and Helpdesk Teams when necessary
  • Providing 3rd Level Support on all Server and Systems related issues
  • Proactive management and monitoring of systems
  • Implementation of new systems within agree timeframes
  • Working proactively to the needs of the business
  • Working with other Global Teams

The Requirements:
Our client is an Engineer/Administrator with a background in Exchange 2007 and CommVault. These are where the current gaps are in the team and if you do not have experience with both I will not be in a position to shortlist you.

To confirm, the following are essential for the role

  • Experience working with CommVault to Administrator/Manager Level
  • Experience with Exchange 2007 to Administrator Level also
  • Relevant Industry Certification (MCSE, MCITP etc)

The following are considered "nice to have's"

  • SCCM
  • Citrix
