Looking for a C++ developer for a contract position in Fort Worth, TX.

Skills:

      • Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline 4-8 years of related experience in Object Oriented Analysis and design Strong knowledge of C++ required. Knowledge of, or ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies, programming languages, or platforms; such as Objective C, Java, iOS/Android development, web development etc. Proficient in automated unit test development practices and design methodologies Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to effectively multi-task and deliver high quality results at rapid pace; Ability to drive issues to effective resolution; Ability to find solutions to challenging, time-critical problems Ability to think creatively and demonstrate intellectual curiosity; Interest in continuous learning and staying current with changes in technology and emerging technology trends

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Knowledge of Objective C, mobile app development, and Java or C# is a significant advantage Experience in development of web applications and knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript and CSS is an advantage. Experience with SQL and web development frameworks such as ASP.NET MVC or Ruby on Rails is an advantage Master's degree preferred 8+ years of related experience

      Responsibilities:

        • This position will be responsible for implementing software ranging from mobile applications to cloud solutions in a rapid fashion but with focus on quality and scalability. Develops product/solution architecture collaboratively with the Solution Architects to meet business specifications; Ensures software meets performance, manageability and reliability requirements in a cost effective and maintainable manner
        • Responsible for coding software which meets requirements, promotes re-use of software components, and facilitates ease of support. Diagnoses, isolates, and corrects defects. Provides input and technical content for technical documentation, user help materials and customer training
        • Conducts unit tests, tracks problems, and implements changes to ensure adherence to test plan and functional requirements; Analyzes, designs and implements software mechanisms to improve code stability, performance and reusability
        • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and customers; Engages in discovery discussions with external customers to help establish detailed requirements; Develops detailed software design documentation that is clear, comprehensive, leads to a scalable implementation, and includes reuse of existing functionality when available; Develops code to the design documentation
        • Participates in process or architectural discussions; Provides input to requirements analysis; Identifies technology to provide product/process stability or improvement; May regularly collaborate with external parties or lead a small team; Conduct complex feature and/or system integration tests
        • Provide technical leadership and mentoring for team members
