Spring IT have an Urgent vacancy for a Security Information Assessor/Senior Auditor to work in Norwich, for a large financial client.
Start date ASAP
Location Norwich - East Anglia

DUTIES
The Security Assessor/Auditor will be involved in the Testing supplier compliance with security controls. Including collecting, collating and validating evidence.
Reporting on findings, including articulating associated risks.
Providing weekly updates on assessment status and blockages requiring escalation.
Providing high level recommendations for remediation
Supporting business stakeholders to gain supplier agreement to implement remediation.
Re-testing after remediation.
Specific Skills/Qualifications or Experience Required - (Essential/Desirable)
Negotiating, influencing, effective challenge and gaining commitment.
Senior relationship and stakeholder management.
Highly competent verbal and written communication skills including effective questioning.
Experience of dealing with vendors in an outsourced environment
Good InfoSec controls testing background
Supplier Assurance experience - desirable
Good understanding of risk management principles and an ability to communicate them to others.
Good understanding of industry information security standards eg ISO2700x, ISF, etc.
Comfortable working to tight deadlines.
