Risk and Control Manager
An experienced Risk and Control Manager is required for a leading financial services organisation based in the Northampton. As Risk and Control Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the Control Environment is designed and operating effectively within the business.
In this role, you will be providing routine assurance and remediation services to customers, through periodic assurance programs.
The Risk and Control Manager will also have responsibility for:-
- Providing routine assurance and remediation services to customers
- Ensure compliance to frameworks and reporting
- Drive projects and changes to the Control Environment that improves the effectiveness and efficiency of Controls.
- Combine all Governance and Control information and providing a customer centric view of the Control environment, meeting customer needs.
- Support the Design team in the development of Controls and associated assurance activity for projects delivering change to the Control Environment.
- Applying broad knowledge and reasoned experience when addressing complex issues and communicate a range of potential solutions in straightforward terms to employees at all levels in the organisation
- Competent working with both operational and technical controls
- Identifies and addresses inefficiencies in systems, processes and controls escalating where appropriate
- Proven ability to generate new and creative ideas whilst promoting and sharing innovative practices throughout the organisation
