30 week contract position.
The position is responsible for managing Global and Domestic software product development programs that range from the hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars in revenue.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Successful execution and control of program and project from initiation through delivery, organizing cross-functional activities to ensure completion of the program and project deliverables on time and within budget.
- Managing and validating the development and tracking of program and complex project plans including scope, schedule, cost, risks, estimates, deliverables and dependencies.
- Ensure conformance to Software Development Lifecycle for new product and enhancement development efforts.
- Determining resource requirements, identifying and acquiring qualified team members to meet program and project deliverables.
- Primary contact for both the project team and executive management as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of software development process/methodologies, telecommunications and Wireline and wireless industries.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, team building, facilitation, conflict management, influence management and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in creating project plans in Clarity - Project Workbench, MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong working knowledge of standard project management discipline philosphy and the ability to same within the organizational framework.
- At least 12 years of Project Management experience.
