Description
A client based near Guildford is looking for a Mechanical design engineer with Solidworks experience. This will be for an initial 6 Month contract.
The Role:
The candidate will be a part of a design team, involved in cutting edge mechanical design for critical offshore instrumentation. We are looking for a team player with an eye for detail and a desire to progress within the company. The role will also involve full product life cycle development and liaising with customers and suppliers.
Job Requirements:
Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.
Mechanical Design
Solidworks 3D design
A background that includes practical as well as theoretical experience would be beneficial.
A competent Solidworks user in designing machined parts and fabrication.
Competent in 2D draughting.
Innovative thought and problem solving.
Conceptual design.
A good understanding of design to cost and design to manufacture.
