A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work a 6 month contract in Swindon for a large Utilities organisation. This client requires an experienced Supplier/Negotiations Controller to work within IT Accounting and Controlling.

Key accountabilities will include:

- Building of business cases specially for outsourcing

- Development of KPI's and performance management reporting specifically related to contracts

- Negotiation with regards to the outsourcing process

- Build up the confidence of the Controller taking over so that they are not seen as out of their depth by the Operation when left to deal with issues on their own

All candidates must be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

- Experience in managing third party outsourced contracts within the IT industry, understands how it works in reality and not just the theory.

- Hands-on practical experience. Not just negotiating contracts but true out-sourcing skills

- Experience in business cases, reviewing and negotiating final contract. Knows the problem areas to look for and how to handle the pitfalls

- Defining and developing key KPI's to measure contract performance- aware of what is relevant from a practical perspective/what can be expected from suppliers

- Has been part of monthly contract review process and can interact with senior managers

- Develop internal management reporting so that we can hit the ground running and not spend the first few months developing reports

- Utilities industry experience
