This organisation requires a Network Specialist for an exciting contract opportunity. You'll be responsible for preparing for new or changed services; management of the change process .You'll also manage the performance of systems and services
Required skills:
5 or more years experience with configuration and management of Cisco Devices and software to include Cisco 6500 Series switch modules, Cisco 3560 Switches, Cisco 2851 & 3845 Integrated Routers, Cisco based VPN, Cisco Network Compliance Manager, and Cisco Secure Software, Cisco Nexus 5000
- A strong understanding of TCP/IP, Networking principles, LAN, MAN&WAN Communications required
- . Understanding of management and monitoring tools used for large enterprises, familiar with network ports and protocols, ability to troubleshoot network related issues and the ability to develop and deliver trouble reports..
- Good communications skills.
- Job Duty 1- Configure, manage, monitor and maintain Cisco 2851 and 3845 Integrated Routers2- Configure, manage, monitor and maintain Cisco 6500 series Switches 3- Configure, manage, monitor and maintain Network Compliance Manager and Cisco Secure 4-Configure, manage, monitor and maintain Cisco 3500 series switches5-Assist w/troubleshooting both network, applications and enterprise issues as required
Required
- At least 1 year experience in Configuration and Management of Cisco Devices and Software to include Cisco 6500 Series switch modules, Cisco 3560 Switches, Cisco 2851 and 3845 Integrated Routers, Cisco based VPN
- At least 1 year experience in Cisco Network Compliance Manager and Cisco Secure Software
- Aus. citizenship required
- Bachelor's Degree
- Certified in CNA, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+
- English: Intermediate
- Certifications in related field will be highly recommended
