The candidate in this contract position will provide imaging power and performance analysis.
OVERVIEW:
- Power instrumentation and schematics
- PC troubleshooting
- Performance and power data collection of components for computer systems
- Disassembly and reassembly of notebook computers
- Running benchmarks and scripts in a consistent and detailed manner
- Documentation of results and configurations
- Proficiency in using and administering Windows OS and office applications (Word and Excel), BIOS, software and driver installation
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of related work experience
- Basic Scripting skills
- Familiarity with Windows OS environments
- Basic understanding of Ohm's law
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble devices
- Basic understanding of Electrical Schematics
- Ability to use Windows OS and Office applications specifically Word and Excel
- Ability to install software and drivers and updating the system BIOS
- Attention to detail
- Skills in documenting results, configurations, and observations accurately
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Familiarity with high-speed data acquisitions system and LabView
- Familiarity with Android OS environments
- Ability to solder and remove small components from a printed circuit board
